Spring Makeup Wishlist | Feel Unique

As spring has officially sprung I thought for todays post I would share with you all some products that are currently on my wishlist for this season.

Chanel Soleil Tan de Chanel
This bronzer has been a cult favourite for a long time and I've actually never tried a cream bronzer before so I would very much like to try one and especially for the spring/summer. It's said to give the skin a radiant and natural glow and can be used to bronze up your complexion or as a base for your contour. It's fairly pricey for what it is but what can I say, I'm a sucker for the Chanel packaging.

Urban Decay Afterglow Highlighter in 'Sin'
As soon as this highlighter came out it has been in my wishlist as it's supposably similar to 'The Balm Mary-Lou Maniser' which is my all time favourite highlighter. This particular shade 'Sin' is described as a champagne gold beige with a frosted finish. It's buildable and a product that claims to last for 8 hours sounds like a good idea to me.

Clinique Beyond Perfecting 2-in 1 Foundation and Concealer in '02 Alabaster'

By now you are all aware that I'm a foundation collector and while this product came out a while ago I've never gotten round to purchasing it. First of all the applicator intrigues me which is one of the main reasons I'd like to try it nonetheless It's a full coverage, dewy foundation that i'd love to add to my collection.

Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick in 'Patina'
I've recently jumped on the liquid lipstick craze and I've heard great things about the Stila ones. Ive seen a few swatch videos and they seem highly pigmented and their staying powder is believed to be impeccable. The price point is reasonable too and the shade 'Patina' is a berry nude that I'd love to try.

bareMinerals bareSkin Complete Coverage Serum Concealer in 'Fair'
This concealer appeals to me due to the fact the name suggests it's a serum which will mean its hydrating under the eyes. It isnt as full coverage as what I normally go for although I feel it will be natural whilst still covering my dark circles which will be perfect for this season.

Topshop Beauty Lipstick in 'Mink'
I've never before tried any Topshop Beauty items but this shade looks stunning and it appears to be a dusty pink with brown undertones. It's not typically a spring lipstick shade however there are no rules with makeup, right?

Laura Mercier Foundation Primer - Radiance
As spring/summer comes around I like to switch up my ordinary primers for ones that give the skin a radiant and glowing effect. I've heard many great reviews and this primer is known to keep your foundation in place all day whilst leaving your skin looking dewy and healthy.

NARS Velvet Lip Liner in 'Waimea'
I've recently really being getting into lip liners and since I love the nars lipsticks so much I figured it was about time i tried their lip liners too. These are said to be creamy, pigmented and fairly long lasting; the shade i have selected is a peachy nude that seems to be quite a universal colour that I can pair with all my nude lipsticks.

Benefit 'Coralista' Blush
I only own one benefit boxed blush and that is 'Rockateur' which i tend to reach for quite a lot therefore I'd like to try more. I feel that a coral is a perfect blush shade for this season which Is why i'm particularly drawn to this one. These blushers have a soft consistency and they blend with ease and last all day.

I hope you found this post to be interesting and let me know if you've tried any of these products in the comments below. Also, what's one product that you really want to try this Spring?

Zoeva Vegan Face Brush Set Review

After purchasing the 'Zoeva Rose Gold Complete Eye Set' my obsession with Zoeva began and since then I have made many a purchase on the Zoeva website. A couple of months ago I decided to pick up the 'Vegan Face Brush Set' and today I am going to be sharing my opinion on these brushes.

This set of 6 brushes comes in a faux leather pouch which looks just like real leather. The details are great in this bag; it has pink lining and silver hardware. I appreciate that it comes with a pouch as this makes the set perfect for travel.

Powder Brush-

This is a fantastic large fluffy powder brush which is perfect for applying both loose and pressed powders. I also find this brush great for applying bronzer. The bristles are incredibly soft and it washes simply without any shedding. The bristles are tightly packed yet i can stick get a light application. Overall this is a very pleasant and functional brush to have.

Buffer Brush-

I absolutely adore this brush and have previously mentioned it in my March favourites post. This brush blends my foundation evenly and leaves me with an airbrushed finish. I dot my foundation all over my face then use this brush to evenly spread out the foundation and I find that this gives great results. This brush makes my foundation application so quick and easy with no streaks, lines or uneven application. The bristles are so dense and soft yet still flexible and it picks up product really easily but doesnt hold it in the brush. If you're looking for a new foundation brush I would definitely recommend this one!

Silk Finish Brush-

Out of all the brushes in this collection I have heard the most about this one from many beauty bloggers and I understand why is has become a cult item. This is a well made brush that blends liquid foundation beautifully; it feels luxurious, washes well and has never shed. I also like to use this brush to apply cream blushers and blend out concealer so it's a multi use item. On my first impression I thought it was very similar to the RT buffing brush however this is much more dense and rounded and I certainly prefer this one.

Cream Cheek Brush-

This is one of my favourite brushes in this collection and my prefered way of using it it for contouring. The angled shape fits the contours of the cheeks perfectly however this brush can also be used for blushers as well as shaping the face. The size of the brush is great for precise application and it a staple in anyones brush collection.

Face Shape Brush-

Out of all these brushes this is the one I have used the least however It works well to blend out concealer. Similarly this brush is extremely soft and the head is small which is perfect for getting into the nooks and crannies of the face ie. around the nose, under the eyes. An alternate way of using it could be to blend out your contour.

Concealer Brush-

I actually own 3 of these brushes because I love it that much; it gives the perfect finish for my concealer and it is very soft and easy to use. I also like to use it to apply my mac paint pot all over my eyelids before beginning my eyeshadow.

That concludes my review on the 'Zoeva Vegan Face Brush Set'. Overall I really love this set and would recommend it due to the amazing quality at an affordable price. What is your favourite makeup brush? Let me know in the comments below!

Current Morning Skincare Routine

Following my previous post on my 'Evening Skincare Routine' I thought I would share with you my Morning routine. I like to keep it as simple as possible because when I'm waking up at 5am the last thing I want is to spend half an hour prepping my skin. With that said here is my morning skincare routine.

1. Soap and Glory Peaches & Cream Cleanser

I begin with a light cleanser to refresh and clean my face. I apply it to my skin with my hands and massage in circular motions. I then take a warm muslin cloth and wipe away. This cleanser has a refreshing fruity scent that feels lovely In the morning.

2. First Aid Beauty Hydrating Mist
I then spritz the FAB Hydrating Mist all over my face for a boost of hydration. This is a favourite product of mine for keeping my skin moisturised. Its also great to carry around throughout the day to refresh my makeup or apply after makeup to set it in place.

3. Liz Earle Skin Tonic Toner
I then tone my skin with the Liz Earle Skin tonic. I apply a small amount onto a cotton pad and swipe it all over my face. This toner has a gorgeous, refreshing light botanical fragrance  which is probably my favourite aspect of it.It makes my skin feel fresh and I've noticed that it does give the skin a nice 'dewy' appearance. It has a cooling effect on the skin which is a nice feeling in the morning.

4. Vichy Aqualia Thermal Serum

Next up I apply a serum, my favourite is the Vichy Aqualia Thermal Serum.  I apply it onto dry fingertips, spread onto both hands and apply directly to the skin. I love this product because it's light, easily absorbs and hydrates well. I also find that my makeup applies smoother when I use this.

5. Liz Earle Skin Repair Moisturiser Normal/Combination

I only recently added this moisturiser to my routine however I have been loving using it. This cream has a luxurious texture that isnt too thick or thin and fully moisturises my face without leaving it greasy. It has natural ingredients which i appreciate and it absorbs into the skin quickly. I find that for the quality this product is of a reasonable price and I would definitely recommend it and Liz Earle as a brand overall as I really enjoy her products.

6. Body Shop Eye Cream
Moving on I use an eye cream, I mentioned the Body Shop Vitamin E Eye Cream in my 'Evening Skincare Routine' and I am still loving it as it has done wonders for my under eyes. Since using this they have felt more smooth and my concealer hasn't been creasing.  I apply a small amount onto my ring fingers and start underneath the eye moving in an anti-clockwise motion up to the brow bone and back round again. I then tap the cream in with a light gentle motion to help it absorb into the skin.

7. Caudalie Lip Conditioner

I always ensure to condition my lips so they are moisturised and smooth ready to apply lipstick. This balm glides onto the lips easily and leaves no colour. Out of all my lip balms this is the one I always reach for as I find it does the best job at keeping my lips hydrated.

I hope you all enjoyed this post as it was actually requested by a reader so thankyou for the suggestion! What's one skincare product that you couldn't live without? Let me know in the comments.

Product Empties | March 2016

For todays post I thought I would share with you all some of the products that I have completely used up as I feel this is a great way to discover my real opinion on a product and get a full indepth review after I've fully used it all up.

Makeup//

Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer

I purchased this concealer almost a year ago now and must say that I absolutely loved it however I made sure to use it sparingly as it runs out quite fast. This product does exactly what the name suggests; it's a creamy texture that helps to brighten the under eyes.  The coverage is excellent and if I set it right away it doesn't crease. I wont be hurrying to repurchase this as I already have many concealers that I'm using however in the future I would certainly like to use it again.

Nars Sheer Glow Foundation

The moment this product ran out I rebought it right away as this foundation is a must have in my makeup collection. I first tried this product two years ago and have gone through three bottles now. It gives good coverage and is buildable without looking cakey. The shade 'Monte Blanc' is a perfect match for me and it applies easily with a damp beauty blender to give a flawless finish. I think I will continue to repurchase this foundation over and over again.

Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation

This foundation is another favourite of mine and I'm now on my second bottle of this. Firstly, the shade selection for this foundation is large which made it easy to find the perfect shade for my skin tone and it's coverage is beautiful without looking cakey. It has a demi-matte finish, doesnt settle into lines and blends easily. A little goes a long way which means it will last a long time and I also appreciate that it doesn't oxidise on my skin which some foundations tend to do.

Skincare//

Garnier Micellar Water

I have gone through many many bottles of this and it's my favourite cleansing water. I rarely use this to remove all my makeup although It comes in handy when I'm feeling lazy and can't be bothered to go through my full skincare routine. I especially like this product for when I'm on holiday because it's quick and easy. Another great way to use it is to refresh your face in the morning.

Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish

Before this product even ran out I repurchased it because I absolutely love it. I have been using this cleanser every single morning and it also removes makeup wonderfully. This cleanser has become a staple in my skincare drawer.

Emma Hardie Cleansing Balm

When I initially purchased this cleanser I was shocked by the price tag however after hearing so many raving reviews I decided to try it out for myself. Since then I have gone through 2 tubs and it is my favourite cleanser to remove makeup. It feels so luxurious on the skin and makes me look forward to doing my skincare routine. I'm also a huge fan of the Emma Hardie muslin cloths, I own probably 10 because they are the best to use in conjunction with this balm.

Hair & Body//

Got2B Glued Hairspray

This is my all time favourite hairspray and have used many cans in the past. It maintains my hairstyle all day without leaving a sticky texture. As of yet I haven't yet found a hairspray that works as well to hold my hair in place.

Soap & Glory Sugar Crush Body Wash

I've gone through 3 bottles of this now and it is one of my favourite body washes especially for the morning because of its fresh lime scent. I apply this will a shower puff and afterwards my skin feels clean and refreshed.

That concludes my product empties for the month of March, let me know if you enjoyed this post and I will continue to do them. Comment below one product that you will continually repurchase?
